Frequently Asked Questions
What is your primary work?
I am the founder and CEO of Kleros, a decentralized arbitration protocol that uses blockchain and game theory to resolve disputes globally. My research, teaching, and public speaking are all extensions of that work.
Do you take speaking engagements?
Occasionally. I speak when the topic intersects directly with my research: decentralized justice, blockchain governance, AI alignment, or the institutional design of digital systems. I don't maintain an active speaking calendar, but I'm open to exceptional invitations.
What topics do you speak about?
Decentralized arbitration and online dispute resolution, the governance of AI systems, blockchain as institutional infrastructure, and the future of law and governance in the digital age.
How can I attend one of your classes?
I occasionally give guest lectures at universities, but these are by invitation only and not open to the public. My courses on blockchain, law, and governance are available on Coursera, with over 100,000 students enrolled.
Do you advise or consult on blockchain and governance projects?
I generally don’t take on consulting engagements, but I make exceptions for projects closely aligned with my research, particularly those involving decentralized governance, dispute resolution, or Kleros integrations. If you think your project fits, feel free to reach out through the contact form below.
Do you speak in languages other than English?
Yes. I deliver talks and lectures in English, Spanish, and French. I have spoken at international venues across Europe, Latin America, and the United States in all three languages.
